Artist's Comments

The reason behind the title is because I think Hakkai really is a calm and collected person---and thats what makes him--HIM.

I drew this when I returned home from shopping---while watching a movie that I bought. A Monster energy drink has quite an effect on you when you are bored. xD I didn't think that I would end up drawing another one of these today.

I'm not as satisfied with this one as I am with the Gojyo one. I wish the green was a bit brighter, and there are some places where I didn't even really try on the black. I am just not in the best mood right now, so I figured I would just get it done so I wouldn't have to worry about it later.

DISCLAIMER: This is based off of a screenshot. Anyone who is a Saiyuki fan knows where this came from. This is from the first Saiyuki television series opening. I figured I would try my hand at drawing it---as an excuse to draw something to show I'm not incredibly lazy...and actually do something worth while when I'm alone.

Materials Used:
Sketch - Mechanical Pencil
Lineart - Sharpie Sketch Pen
Colors - Crayola (lol) Markers

Time Taken:
Sketch - 30 minutes
Coloring - 2 1/2 hours
